Upon arriving at the hotel, we were warmly greeted by the staff and quickly checked into our lovely private room. the room was spacious and clean, with great facilities such as a hot powerful shower in the ensuite. the bed and bedding were comfortable, although we had to make use of the sofa bed as well. Unfortunately, there was no second bedding set provided, so we improvised with a duvet cover and spare blanket. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious evening meal we had at the hotel. We met up with some friends and enjoyed a leisurely dinner without feeling rushed. the breakfast the next morning was equally delightful, with delicious bacon that we all enjoyed. The hotel itself is a 16th-century listed building, so it has some age-related quirks, but we really enjoyed the ambience of the pub and rooms. All the staff we encountered were excellent, very pleasant and helpful. the family-friendly atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable, especially after a day exploring Bath. Overall, our stay at the hotel was fantastic. Despite a few minor issues, such as the leaking coffee pod machine and lack of second bedding set, we had a wonderful time. the friendly staff, delicious meals, and comfortable accommodations made for a memorable family experience. We would definitely consider staying at this hotel again in the future.
